Law Office of Nadine Jean-Gilles, LLC
Dedicated to Ensuring Your Voice is Heard

Attorney & Managing Partner Jean-Gilles
Born in the small town of Mombin Crochu, Haiti, Attorney Nadine
Jean-Gilles witnessed firsthand the harsh realities of indentured
servitude and the exploitation of children as Restaveks. These early
experiences instilled in her a deep sense of justice and a lifelong
commitment to advocating for the underprivileged. She immigrated to
the United States at the age of ten years old. While pursuing a higher
education at Pace University, she interned at the U.S. Department of
Probation, where she was first exposed to the complexities of the
American legal system. However, it was her own journey to U.S.
citizenship that opened her eyes to the challenges of immigration law.
Determined to amplify the voices of the voiceless, Nadine earned her
Juris Doctor from Hofstra Law School in 2010. As an attorney, she has
drawn striking parallels between the struggles of marginalized
individuals in Haiti and the obstacles faced by immigrants navigating
the U.S. legal system. Now, as an immigration and family law attorney,
she dedicates herself to ensuring that the most vulnerable members of
her community receive fair and equal representation.
Nadine Jean-Gilles’ personal experience as an immigrant fuels her
unwavering passion for justice. She is committed to empowering
individuals and families, helping them overcome legal hurdles and
secure a better future. Whether advocating in family law matters or
fighting for immigrant rights, she remains steadfast in her mission to
create opportunities for those striving to achieve the American Dream.
